Logbook of the Maritime Mayas and Manatees

The mission to Belize aimed to explore Mayan archaeological sites in Cancun and Belize, focusing on documenting elements related to water and marine life within Maya culture.

A key goal was to engage with NGOs dedicated to manatee conservation, fostering connections with Belizean culture and observing the human relationship with manatees.

Furthermore, the mission intended to explore the significance and symbolism of this animal across historical and contemporary societies.
